Tiger Direct is having some holiday “blow out” sales this week, with offers that are very good, and which will probably disappear quickly.  One example is a refurbished IBM Pentium 4 desktop PC for just $189.99 (after rebate).  This off-lease machine has a 2.4Ghz P4 processor, 256MB of RAM, and a 40GB IDE hard drive.  It also includes a CD-ROM drive. and a floppy disk drive.

This isn’t the blazingly-fast computer you’d want for gaming, but it’s otherwise well-suited for home or business use.  The operating system is Windows XP Professional, and your refurbished PC comes with a 56K modem and integrated 10/100 ethernet LAN.  There are six USB ports and two serial ports, which is a worth noting, as serial ports are becoming a rarity.  You’ll also get the expected audio out, microphone in, and and line in jacks.
