Walmart has another super price on a notebook computer this week, the Toshiba L35-S1054 Satellite.  With a 14.1″ WXGA widescreen display supported by the ATI Radeon Xpress chipset, it’s large enough for gaming, or to be used in an office in lieu of a large desktop model.  The Intel Celeron M processor 410 runs at 1.46GHz, and this system includes a whopping 1GB of RAM plus a 100GB hard drive.  This truly is a laptop that can serve both your existing and future needs, whether you’re using it at home, at school, or at the office.

Other attractive features of this budget-priced Toshiba Satellite include a CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive for playing and burning music (or storing data), and an RGB port to allow an extra monitor.  Again, this provides an option for hooking up a large monitor while you’re at home, and then unhooking it when you want to travel with your notebook.  It’s all about versatility.  For Internet connectivity, choose from conventional dialup modem, ethernet LAN, and 802.11b/g wireless LAN.

Walmart lists the Toshiba Satellite as “Vista Capable”.  It comes with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 already installed and ready to use.  This is a quality notebook computer at a reasonable price, and definitely worth looking at.  As long as you order by December 18th, you can receive your order by the 22nd for just the price of standard shipping.
